My Urologist told me that if the cysts reach 5 cm to 7 cm, they tend to start causing discomfort at that size and may dislocate other organs. At that point, the treatment used at this place is to put the patient under a CT scan and locate the cyst and go invasive through the skin with a fine needle to aspirate it and suck out the fluid completely. Then, they inject something to collapse the cyst cell walls so that no more fluid can hang out there. There may be possible side effects.
