Christmas and Judaism

I really relate to the article “The Jewish Roots of Christmas.” I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland. Our Christmas tree seemed to be the only one on our street. I’ve always loved the Jewish people and had many as my friends.

In school we started the day with a student reading the Bible, mostly in Psalms, and all of us saying the Lord’s Prayer. I go back many years with my fond memories. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself.
