June’s Full Measure

Published: April 17, 2009

The sky is full of dumpling clouds,
The flower beds full of blooms;
The newspaper announcement page
Is full of brides and grooms.
The bush is full of hungry bees,
The plant box full of plants;
The air is full of pollen,
And the ground is full of ants.
The trees are full of robin’s nests,
The garden’s full of seeds;
Children are full of mischief,
And the lawn is full of weeds.
