Make Your Own Cleaning Products

Try the following recipes from the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service:

All-Purpose Cleaner:
*Apply baking soda to a damp sponge.
*Wipe surface, then rinse with water.

Furniture Cleaner and Polish:
*3 cups olive oil
*1 cup vinegar
Mix until well blended. Lightly apply to furniture with a clean, soft cloth.

Lime and Mineral Deposit Remover:
Soak paper towels in vinegar. Place towels on lime deposits around faucet for approximately one hour. Softened deposits will be easy to remove.
