Do You Know Your ABCs?

Here’s a new brainteaser for Living Well readers! Your assignment is to compose a sentence that uses each letter of the alphabet at least once, but as few times a possible. The sentence should express a complete thought and usual grammar rules apply. Punctuation marks are allowed and don’t count as characters. One familiar example is: “The quick red fox jumps over the lazy brown dog.”

This once-common keyboarding drill (performed sitting upright with feet flat on the floor) includes a total of 38 characters, many more than the required 26. So put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and see what you can come up with.

You should try the game Words of the Wise from Griddly Games. You get a category and then ahve to name things in that category starting with letter A, then B, etc. Do it yourself or challenge other players, or take turns adding more until someone gets stumped.
