I have been thinking of starting to grow lavender on some of our 25 acres in northern Indiana. I would love to talk to you about your adventures!

.My daughter gave me a large, potted lavender plant which I have kept outdoors all summer. Since I live near Chicago, Illinois, I want to know if I should bring it indoors this winter, if so how do I treat it. Can I plant it in the ground in a west facing exposure? I don’t want to kill it and I would really like it to be planted in the ground. Thanks for any help you can give me.
