This is an illustration by John Falter that was made as a composite of several of my parent’s wedding pictures. John was a friend of my parents and my entire family has always cherished this cover. We always delighted in pointing out the family members in the cover, but to this day, none of us ever knew who the man was kissing Mom. We just referred to him as a fictious character.
