A note on Bob Silvers: Ann and I have known him for a number of years, along with his wife, Joyce. They and we have worked at Family Fest in Gatlinburg. It’s a wonderful place to be at a great time of the year – Memrorial weekend, just in case you’re interested. Getting back to Bob, Most Hoosiers have seen him with Andrew Phipps on his popular Gospel must program. I have called Bob Andrew’s “Ed McMahon”. It’s not like htat is all that Bob has done. He and his wife Joyce have traveled and performed musically for a number of years. Of course Bob has been with Saturday Evening Post also. We’re proud to be his friends and are everjoyed that his portrait is in the Gatlinburg Inn, which happens to be located in our 2nd “hometown”.
