Oceanside Picnic

The old-fashioned joys of picnicking seem to take on an added dangerous dimension in Gertrude Kay’s 1939 Country Gentleman cover. We hope that fellow standing on the rock doesn’t make a misstep. The scene is somewhere on the northwest coast. Oh, that we might be there, too.
