Rocky Mountain Fly Fishing

John ClymerRocky Mountain Fly Fishing1956

Why doesn’t the angler turn around and exult in the beauty of the Rockies behind him? Because, he is looking at the beauty in front of him, a specimen of aquatic, craniate vertebrate having limbs developed as fins, which will weigh plenty when he lands it, or even if he doesn’t. John Clymer painted this scene in February to get his mind away from snowdrifts.
