As a northern Illinois farm boy growing up in the Depression, one of the joys I had was reading The Saturday Evening Post. The first items of interest were the cartoons and jokes, but the greatest joy was the short stories.
So, I welcome the return of the short story to the pages of the Post. I hope you can find room for more than one per issue.

I agree. I too, grew up with the Post. As a young child, my grandpa and I would share his old torn and worn chair, he reading to me as was our nightly ritual. Today I write short stories. Perhaps I might send one to the Post.
