Reminds me of the good ole days when one individual helps another and does not ask for anything in return. The individual helping can see the individuals real need for their help.

Today, we seemingly ignore the individual who is in need of help - real help. We have taken advantage of each others kindness for so long that evil feeds on evil . Some individuals take advantage of another individual who believes that they see a real need and show a kindness they feed on this in an evil way. As I speak from experience.

But, I still continue to help others in need and still I cannot distinguish between the real need and the artificial need. Sad, isn't it.

What a beautiful story! It tells once more how human kindness in response to human suffering expresses God's love as contained in the wonderful verse: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Christmas--the greatest story ever told!
