Found it interesting that, almost immediately, the author lumps the Bush presidency in with terrorist attacks, major corporation collapses and a vanishing middle class. Was George Bush's term in office really on a par with all those disasters? Perhaps, but the writer gave not one iota of support for that rather harsh assessment.

Perhaps the E.P.A. will be
The upsetter of the Exec.
Obama smoking by a tree
Causes to break loose all lib heck.
The E.P.A goes to Fed court
To enjoin the Prez from his puff.
The E.P.A loses in short,
And goes to Gore to play real rough.
In oh twelve - Obama v Gore.
Gore wins the primary, but not
The general. The libs are sore
When they see who the country got.

Will she target the E.P.A.?
"You betcha!" Prez Sarah will say.

How can the "Post" run an article about Gifford Pinchot and not once mention that he was twice elected governor of Pennsylvania and was prominently considered for the presidency in 1924? He also founded and was president of the National Conservation Association. Of all of the influential Pennsylvanians who did not reach the White House, and there have been many, since James Buchanan is the state's only representative, Gifford Pinchot always seemed to me the one most deserving of it.
