We made every path of sunshine on our 4 lots into raised bed gardens after living here for 12 yrs. and longing for a garden and not realizing it was always right here.
We live on the edge of Noel, Mo, and find we can grow about anything we want. We got 500 gallon tanks from Little Debbie's snacks and we put up guttering to catch all of our water, grow containers of marigold flowers to make salves and
teas which are strong in antibiotics, and burn our own wood that we get free from
a local sawmill. We have the very best of the best for our lives here! Thanks so much for encouraging all of us to get back to the earth!

I took out my backyard lawn and converted it into a vegetable garden. It's already lowered the water bill and homegrown food tastes so good. Great article. Keep up the good work.
