This was so appropriate to have seen this segment about Dr. Jill on OWN just last Sunday, Jan. 15th 2012. My brother’s only son had a stroke one week before the program aired and we were all in awe of how his life was abruptly changed from agile, strong construction worker to speechless, partial-paralytic patient in a hospital! The words of Dr. Jill gave me hope for Rick’s recovery, even if it is years away. I will get the book for our family to read, study and to give hope.
