Why do we humans like music?
Researchers say it's a brain thing.
Certain sounds make the neurons tick,
As we hear rhythms play and sing.
The sound recording industry
Has put the music to my ears
Via tech that happens to be
At my turn on/off through the years.
I do expect that soon a chip
Will be implanted in my brain
For any musical head trip
That I may wish to entertain.

So even though I may be dead,
Music will still play in my head.

Why is Jeff Nillson surprised at the lack of interest in listening to music among women, compared with men?

How many internationally famous musical performers are and have been women?
How many are and have been men?

How many internationally famous composers are and have been women?
How many are and have been men?

How many international music impresarios are and have been women?
How many men?

How many women have designed/made any musical instrument; conducted/led any noted orchestra; or choir; or chamber music ensemble; or quintet; or quartet?

How many women have ever even wanted to do those things?

Why is this?

What do females lack to that extent.?
