That North America does hold.
Denali is my name unique
To Alaskans for ages old.
But then some tourist from the States
Called me McKinley and it stuck.
Such politics and oh it grates
To be so tagged by just bad luck.
A cigar smoking so so guy
Was the president’s name I got.
Was there but history passed by.
Sometimes recalled that he got shot.

McKinley’s only current fame
Is that I’m still stuck with his name.
