I have always loved this print of my hometown. It means Christmas to me. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to share it with friends through Facebook. Merry Christmas.
Is there anyway to purchase this picture of Decemer 21, 1946 Saturday Post featuring Falls City, Nebrska?
My grandfather had a clothing store on the main street of Falls City, Nebraska and it was called “SCHOCK’S STORE” after my Grandpa Schock. My twin sister and I were born in Falls City 6 months after this picture was taken. Lots of memories of Falls City!
I WAS BORN 1945. MY PARENTS ARE FROM THE AREA. MOM WAS A JAHN. THE FAMILY HAS LIVED HERE FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF VISITING MY GRANDPARENTS THERE. I LIVED IN THE HIAWATHA KS AREA UNTIL MOVING TO ARIZONA IN 1959.
IN SOME WAYS WISH IT WAS STILL LIKE THIS!
