I'm eleven years old and my mom ask me to read this article about Jackie Robison for Black History Month. I learned that Mr. Robison had good character and self-control. He was not only talented but tough and humble when needed. I'm a big sports fan. I like most sports and know a lot of statistic about players but I don't always read about them especially historically players. After reading this article, I went to the library and checked out a book on his life and career. Thanks

I don't know a whole lot about baseball(I was a Clemente fan), but this was an interesting article. I think because Mr. Robinson allowed "grace" to flow through him, he was able to endure the prejudice; and lead the way for many more players. Thanks
