The last two pictures bring back a raft of memories. Our super rival team beat us by one point in two games one season. Needless to say we were downhearted. However we came back to beat them in the tournament. We went on to take second in state. The second picture reminds me of a girl who was my neighbor. She kept all the boys in our part of town in line.

Great covers. Interesting story about how Mr. Rockwell drew the black eye. As a baseball fan, I have always loved "The Rookie", a really detailed work of art. It is nice how Mr. Rockwell got all the stars names on the lockers, although I knew who they were anyway. The shirtless guy always looked alittle like Dom DiMaggio, but he had been retired a few years by 1957. The "Graduate" reminds us that no matter when we lived there are always troubles and worries. Those of today are no worse, and much the same, as in 1959.
