Jeff, I really love this new feature. Please keep it every week. It REALLY shows the vast differences between the three 25 year spans, and how each really reflects its respective time period!
The first two definitely have a ‘fine art’ look to them that the suburban one did not. This is NOT to say however, that Dick Sargent was not a fine artist. He’s one of the POST’s finest in fact, and a personal favorite of mine. It’s more the subject matter I think. June ’62 was also the last month of that larger logo exclusive to the Kennedy Administration.
