  • Thank you POST editors for these selections. They’re all wonderful. I’m sure the Mom on the ’58 cover wishes her son could have been more like the tot on the 1923 cover. As if she didn’t have enough stress with the Holidays, this good deed certainly didn’t go unpunished. Mother’s little helper? Not that day!

    It’s also really nice to see some Christmas covers from the ’80s here that beautifully blend the early and late 20th century styles.
