About: Jennifer Zeynab Maccani
Jennifer Zeynab Maccani is a Syrian American writer and a member of the Radius of Arab American Writers (RAWI). Her short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Gulf Stream Literary Magazine, The Normal School, Eleven Eleven, Clackamas Literary Review, Mizna, and elsewhere. “Like Fig Trees in Winter” also received an Honorable Mention in Glimmer Train’s December 2015 Fiction Open. Jennifer lives in the greater Hershey, Pennsylvania, area, where she is currently at work on a novel and a collection of short stories.
