As a child, Gregersen loved having blank paper to write on, mostly drawing pictures until his sister taught him to read. He received a working typewriter for his birthday that year and soon was writing and illustrating comic strips. Years later, during a time of life changes he sat down to write poems, newspaper articles, even won an award for a letter to the editor. Gregersen now has 10 books in print. With the help of a dear friend, Canadian author and film producer Richard Van Camp, his dream of living off his own creative writing and teaching came true.
