Sarah Gerard has published short stories and essays in Joyland, The New York Times, Paris Review Daily, Los Angeles Review of Books, and other outlets. Her novel Binary Star was released in January 2015 (Two Dollar Radio Press). At present, Gerard works for an art magazine BOMB that specializes in conversations between artists. “Sideshow” is her first short story published in a national consumer magazine.
