Cookin’ the Market is a program that gives cooking demonstrations showing how quick and easy it is to cook with fresh, locally grown ingredients. Demonstrations take place at community events in California and at farmers markets of the The Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association (PCFMA), a not-for-profit organization that develops, operates, and supports certified farmers markets in the San Francisco Bay Area. PCFMA is part of the Farmers Market Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening farmers markets across the United States so that they can serve as community assets while providing real income opportunities for farmers.
