Vicky Mlyniec is the 2005 winner of the Tobias Wolff Fiction Award and a 2011 Pushcart Prize nominee. RUMP was a finalist (out of 1000+ submissions) in Glimmer Train's Short Fiction Open. Her short stories have appeared in North American Review and Bellingham Review, among other venues, and have been performed as part of the Emerging Voices New Short Fiction Series in Los Angeles. In addition to fiction, essays, articles, and creative nonfiction have been published in a variety of newspapers and national magazines.
