I am very sorry to learn in the May/ June issue of the death of Maynard Good Stoddard. He was an outstanding writer, with a marvelous sense of humor, and I enjoyed his articles immensely. In fact, they were the first thing I read in your magazine whenever they appeared. It was great fun discovering what he and his "dear wife" were up to next!

Mr. Stoddard will be sorely missed by your readers and staff. It is my hope that you'll occasionally reprint some of his articles, as you did this last one. He'll never be forgotten.
