I have had two total hip replacements. My doctor would not have let me walk out of the hospital the day after either surgery. And I don't believe Jimmy Connors' [Post People, July/August '07] doctor did, either.

And no pain? Come on now, of course there is pain; there is lots of therapy, too. And no way could I have played a game of anything six weeks later. Please tell it like it is.
