A Reader's Remedy
Post Staff
I have had restless legs syndrome for some time. I control it by doing high-stepping exercises, over 100 high steps until I get tired, before I go to bed. If at bed time I don't have the energy for the high steps, I do 40 high leg lifts on each leg while on my back in bed and then another 40 lying on each side. Sometimes this latter may not suffice and I'll have to do the high steps as well, but usually I can get by. In either case, I go to sleep in minutes afterward.

Just in case it might encourage others, I'm coming up on 81 years old, work full time on my fourth career, this time as a security guard with four hours of patrolling and four hours of desk work each night.

Some months ago I found something that allowed me to subscribe. I always thought you had a great magazine, but my last encounter was when I subscribed for my parents from some street vendor, just before I went overseas in 1942.
