I have just recently completed paperwork for my remains to be sent to the University of Florida College of Medicine. Also I totally support stem cell research for medical purposes, not for cloning.
Oh yes, I was born August 13, 1925, have never abused my body with smoke or excess drink except coffee. I am pretty self sufficient, live with three old dachshunds, and consider myself the most lucky person on earth.
I would like to have your medical staff comment on the body donation programs. Thanks for good reading, jokes, and cartoons, most of which I can truly relate to.

Editor's note: Most medical schools are in need of donated bodies for the leaching of anatomy, surgery, and other specialty fields. Each school has different donation procedures--most will return the cremated remains of the donor at no charge to the family. For local programs, log on to livingbank.org (click on "Information" and then "Whole Body Donation") or write to us at 1100 Waterway Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
