The Youngest Post Boy

I have read with interest your many letters from old Post delivery boys, and I believe I hold a record in that regard as possibly the youngest Post boy ever. When I was about one year old, my brother Alan used to take me with him while he sold magazines and newspapers. He would put me in his newspaper sack, go out on a busy street corner and holler "Paaa-per," and I would try to imitate him with my tiny voice: "paa-pa." My dad told me I sold a lot of magazines and papers for Alan. Alan is 80 years old now and living in Eugene, Oregon.
