Unusual Asthma Trigger
By Cory SerVaas, M.D. and Wendy Braun, R.N., B.S.N.
Dear Dr. SerVaas,

I think I have developed an allergy to computer printer toner or ink. Others might be suffering from this problem because they don't know what is making them sick. My doctors said I was on my way to chronic lung disease if I didn't get my asthma under control. I was lucky I was able to isolate what triggered my worst attacks, because my exposure to toner and ink wasn't an everyday occurrence.
