Dear Dr. SerVaas: In your Sept./Oct. issue, I saw a very interesting article about restless legs. I had trouble with that a long time. Then I read about taking 250 mg of magnesium every day. I started it right away and noticed results within a week. I am so thankful! I hope this helps other sufferers.

Great news for the millions of sufferers whose legs kick at night. A recent issue of Neurology reports that the drug called Neurontin relieved symptoms of even severe restless legs syndrome, and with few side effects.

Dear Dr. SerVaas: I read the letter about restless legs by Judy Reader. We are not all alike when it comes to cures, but I rub my legs with Sports Cream, which I get at the Wal-Mart store. Massage well on the back of the thigh and calf of the leg, as well as the knee joint. It gives me almost instant relief, and I can sleep all the night long.
Dear Dr. SerVaas: I am having quite a lot of trouble with restless legs syndrome and am losing sleep. I believe it has been suggested that a mineral of some type might help.
