In The Swim
Through structured and coached pool workouts, United States Masters Swimming helps adults of all ages improve their fitness and make new friends.
United States Masters Swimming
USMS is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. The organization offers a wide range of programs. To find out more, contact:

U.S. Masters Swimming, Inc.; P.O. Box 185; Londonderry, NH 03053-0185; 1-800 550-SWIM
How to join
It's not hard to locate a Masters Swimming program. Some 500 local clubs can be found across the country. Check out the USMS Web site at www.usms.org, which lists local programs and swimming sites and offers links to the Web sites of local programs that have online information. Also on the site are downloadable forms for registering with the appropriate Local Masters Swim Committee.

Costs vary from one location to another, but they're kept as low as possible to encourage participation. For instance, the Indianapolis club has a $35 registration fee along with a monthly fee of $26 to $44 that allows pool access along with as many structured workouts as the member desires to attend.
