CBS This Morning‘s Jeff Glor reports on two American classics: The Saturday Evening Post and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.
Fitzgerald wrote 68 stories for the Post over the course of 17 years, earning him a total of $2 million. In today’s world, that’s about $20 million.
As Gatsby looks to make a splash at the box office, the Post looks to also reach out to a new generation.
Read F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short stories in Gatsby Girls, a collection of his first eight short stories originally published in The Saturday Evening Post and accompanied by original illustrations and beautiful cover images. Available for purchase in digital and print editions.
