What: Humpty Dumpty Magazine will present Cozette Weng, 7, with the Humpty Dumpty first-place prize for her submission, “Great fun on water slides, watching sharks swimming around!” Humpty Dumpty will award Marguerite E. Peaslee Elementary (Northborough, MA) with a $1,500 cash prize for the school’s art program during an event at the school on Friday, May 17. Weng’s winning submission is featured on the cover of the May/June 2013 issue of Humpty Dumpty as well as on the website, http://www.uskidsmags.com/artcontest/.
The Humpty Dumpty Cover Contest is an annual art contest designed to stimulate creativity and promote art programs in schools across the country. Children ages 5-7 were encouraged to submit entries fitting with the theme, “My Best Day Ever.”
