What: Turtle magazine will present Linda Wong, 4, with the Turtle first-place prize for her submission, “Feeding animals on my fourth birthday.” Turtle will award Bright Horizons at EMC (Hopkinton, MA) with a $1,500 cash prize for the school’s art program during an event at the school on Thursday, May 16. Wong’s winning submission is featured on the cover of the May/June 2013 issue of Turtle as well as on the website, http://www.uskidsmags.com/artcontest/.
The Turtle Cover Contest is an annual art contest designed to stimulate creativity and promote art programs in schools across the country. Children ages 3-5 were encouraged to submit entries fitting with the theme, “My Best Day Ever.”
