Cory SerVaas, M.D.
Cory SerVaas, M.D. is the Editor-in-Chief of The Saturday Evening Post and Editorial Director of The Children's Better Health Institute, the largest publishers of children's health magazines. The magazines include: U.S. Kids, Child Life, Children's Digest, Jack and Jill, Children's Playmate, Humpty Dumpty, Turtle Magazine.

Dr. SerVaas founded the Benjamin Franklin Literary and Medical Society in 1976 and serves as its President and CEO. The Society's subsidiaries include: The Children's Better Health Institute, The Saturday Evening Post Society, and the Medical Education and Research Foundation.

Formerly
From 1975 to 1982 she served as Chairman, President and CEO of The Curtis Publishing Company, Inc. She was also the Chairman of The Country Gentleman Publishing Co., Inc.

Dr. SerVaas served on the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports from 1990 to 1994 and the first Presidential Commission on the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Epidemic in 1987.

Dr. SerVaas is currently the Director of the The Benjamin Franklin Literary and Medical Society and The Association for the Advancement of Mental Health Research and Education, Inc. Dr. SerVaas also formerly was the Director of the Committee for Responsible Health Care and The National Hemophilia Foundation.
