Through heavens innocent blue,
White angel wings fly safe and high,
Cherubim and seraphim
Against the peaceful sky;
Until the moon’s pale silver lamp
Calls fragile hosts that drift and roam,
And through the tender, brooding dusk
The little clouds go home.
