  1. Leyendecker’s covers have always been among the most captivating the magazine ever featured, just as Rockwell’s were and are. His covers, like this one here, has certainly stood the test of time. I salute this magnificent cover today, on it’s 100th anniversary.

    1912 also is one of the first years where you could it was definitely the 20th Century and no longer the 19th. The new century was emerging—quickly.
