Interesting feature here on circumstances of the first President Johnson. After viewing and listening, I must conclude Mr. Ross was primarily as a shameless opportunist who certainly wished to be viewed as a constitutional hero.
His shenanigans would be right at home in today’s carnival-toned administration, and sheds light on some bizarre political commonalities of the 19th and 21st centuries.
