Mark Doyle is a professor of history in the middle of Tennessee. He has been a finalist for short story prizes from Salamander and Pithead Chapel, and his work has also appeared in Swing, Potomac Review, and elsewhere. His most recent book is John Cale’s Paris 1919, part of Bloomsbury’s 33 1/3 music book series.
