P.C. Bland is a retired quantitative research methodologist. She worked for many years at the University of Minnesota and then in the health insurance industry. Her career in academia and in the private sector afforded her the opportunity to author or coauthor several articles that have been published in professional journals. “The Skater” is her first published work of fiction.
