Of all of the films reviewed here, it’s ‘Love, Gilda’ I’d want to see the most. She was one of the most gifted, funny, female comedians ever, who was taken far too soon. She was a class act that never needed to resort to the gross/foul-mouthed, NOT funny comedians of today.
I know going into it it’ll be hard to see her suffer with the cancer and I might lose it. If so, then that’s what needs to happen at this time; so be it. I’ll come out of it with a greater understanding of this wonderful woman’s life, her gift of laughter, and a better person myself.
