Christopher L. Nelson is a native of Western North Carolina who received his MFA from North Carolina State University. After nearly a decade teaching in the Midwest, he returned to his native state and now lives in Hickory, North Carolina, with his cat, Suki. “Falcons of Killdary” was his first short story published by a national magazine.
