“Life is an amazing gift because we each get to choose how to handle the things that pop up!” says author Connie Lee. A self-described “Army brat,” Lee was raised in a military family that moved around the globe, to Germany, Japan, and across the U.S., until her father retired in El Paso, Texas. Spending most of her life teaching in Texas and New Mexico, Lee retired to a small Midwestern town where she remains open to learning about the things that interest her: nature, history, psychology, art, and lots more.
