Lisa Lebduska, M.A., Ph.D., is a professor of English and the director of the writing program at Wheaton College. Her work has appeared in literary magazines such as The Forge, The Tishman Review, Lunch Ticket, and others. In 2017, her short story “Waiting for Steven Spielberg” was awarded first place in the Stories through the Ages short story contest run by Living Springs Publishers. Her story “The Undertaker’s Wife” was second runner-up in the Post’s 2023 Great American Fiction Contest. She is currently working on a collection of short nonfiction essays focused on the heart.
