M. Panfil is a writer, playwright, professor, and art director based in Indianapolis. His psychosexual thriller NEEDS was published by Thurston Howl Press in 2020. His short fiction has appeared in The Hoosier Literary Review, The Pine Grove Literary Review, and was a finalist in the 2013 Saturday Evening Post Great American Fiction Contest. Two of his novels, The Psychonaut and A Lovely Sort of Death, were self-published, as well as Fauna Reveries, a collection of illustrated children’s poetry. His graduate dissertation Cosmic Indifference in the Anthropocene was published internationally via Scholarworks, and two of his stage plays, Meta/Stasis and Chaos Is a Ladder, were produced by Khaos Theatre Company.
