Meg Toth is a fiction writer, a scholar of U.S. literature and film, and an assistant editor/reader for Conjunctions Magazine. She lives in New York City, where she taught college courses for over a decade, but she was born in Cleveland, and Ohio — and the Midwest more generally — appears frequently in her writing. That said, she is currently querying her debut novel set in near-future Hollywood. Her recent short fiction has been nominated for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers and the Pushcart Prize. When she's not writing, she enjoys birdwatching, playing board games, and roaming the five boroughs with her partner, especially if it involves far-flung eating adventures.
